Discovering Morocco

Tour in Sahara is a small organiser of private tours in Morocco, in the discovery of the wonders of the desert and the Imperial Cities, travelling through breathtaking landscapes.

Managed by Youssef with Elisabetta‘s collaboration, Tour in Sahara is an offshoot of Marruecos Tours Desierto (which received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2018), mainly aiming to address Italian and English-speaking customers.

Youssef, born in Merzouga (at the door of Sahara) is proud to be a Berber and calls himself “a man of the desert”. He has been working in tourism since he was 13, first in camel rides and then, for more than 10 years now, as a full-fledged guide. Due to his remarkable experience, he speaks Italian, Spanish, English and French fluently.

Elisabetta, on the other hand, is a healthcare professional with an unbridled passion for tours and tour organising.

Their encounter in the Sahara desert gave life to a profound friendship and the idea to cooperate and open the door to Morocco for travellers eager to explore this splendid country while living and breathing the authentic Berber spirit.
